@thenaijacarguy This distinction is really important. Descriptive statistics help summarize what the data looks like, while inferential statistics let us generalize beyond the sample. Understanding when to use each makes a big difference in real data science projects.

Statistics is divided into 2 major types: - Descriptive Statistics - Inferential Statistics If you’re interested in Data Analytics, you should at least know Descriptive Statistics If you’re interested in Data Science, Machine Learning you should at least know both!
