@solardiz We only do colocation and are currently in prep to connect to DE-CIX with a smc microcloud for user hosts. We don’t charge any of our users. If you’re interested, drop us a mail. sdtw@as250.net and we’ll find out if we can work out something. The project certainly fits our goal.

10G ports, near AMS-IX or DE-CIX, can filter and won't charge extra for occasional DDoS traffic (a few hours per year of single-digit Gbps so far - not a big deal, but who knows), reasonable jurisdiction (prefer Amsterdam over Frankfurt - right?) and terms, reasonable prices. 2/2

Back to the tech, any recommendations for a dedicated server provider in Europe for moving Openwall resources out of Russia? Wishlist: operated by people I'd know, can install custom OS yet not expose console via dashboard, has tiny yet well-connected servers (for isolation), 1/2

@baurmatt Sieht für die 194.150.168.168 nach DoS aus. Spannenderweise ist 194.150.168.169 davon unbeeinträchtigt. Wir werden in den kommenden Wochen etwas ausbauen und auch 194.150.168.168 auf breitere Beine stellen mit einer neuen gut angebundenen Instanz in Frankfurt.

Sowohl 194.150.168.168 (@as250) als auch 46.182.19.48 und 5.9.164.112 (@digitalcourage) liefern mir keine DNS Antworten mehr. Getestet aus zwei verschiedenen AS. Pingt aber noch fröhlich. Was da wohl los ist? oO

We start into 2022 with our first upgrade. Both Berlin PoPs now have fully redundant uplinks with 2x10GE connectivity and a shiny new l2 interconnect. Most user servers were already migrated to the new infrastructure and will benefit from local redundancy and increased bandwidth.

One core PoP will become a first class citizen over the next days. There will be significant compute upgrades, a lot of which have already been deployed, and we will connect a major IXP to our fabric. Stay tuned! ✌️

There’s big news ahead: We supported many communities affected by the pandemic over the past months by enabling easy access to, and rapid deployment of communications infrastructure. It’s time to take our infra to the next level! Looking forward to extending the AS250 footprint.

Anyway, from my side nothing against this (the filter was deployed way before the tweet😁), but at this point I think someone stressed you until you decided to remove mirror for CentOs. Hope I wasn't one of them tbh 🤷‍♂️

We've decomissioned the CentOS mirror this morning after it was removed from their list. It will be replaced with an OpenBSD mirror within this week.
