The collectivist's identity tends to be more centered around family, company and country. The individualist's identity is centered more around personal skills and job. Why are Western artists moaning the loudest about AI? Because artists are extra individualist, don't earn much, and AI is much more obviously threatening to replace them than, let's say, an accountant who can still cope with "yeah, but what if AI makes a tiny mistake tho?"
