My @Polymarket weather trading bot landed its first 14x
After a month of building Kairos w/ Claude Opus 4.7, it has a heartbeat.
3 days ago, we ran its first all-nighter. It went from $15 (starting amount) to $10. Big L.
7 trades, 2 complete losses. The rest was 90-99% down.
After a month of work, the result was worse than flipping a coin.
But maybe I was judging too early.
Kept the trades cause I knew some had to had been identified correctly (according to our model).
Plus, they were at practically 0.
I held because almost a week ago, few hours after the bot took some trades, I was up 4x and 2x on 2. Manually closed them all for a profitable day.
I thought I had gotten lucky.
Realized next morning that the bot was not only working, but that it would've landed two 30x, as the dashboard still shows (bug), if I didn't stop them😭
Maybe Kairos had a nice edge🤔 but the infra was terrible...
Spent hours going through all patches, found some critical bugs (first time I pay for extra tokens). Fixed them, but got weekly limited for the 10th time.
Decided to wait till monday.
Today, the weekly limit wore off.
Opened Claude, checked the 7 trades.
2 total loss. 2 bad SL. Some didn't trigger.
2 bad TPs.
Then one trade.
A prediction TWO days in advance.
Practically at $0 3 days ago, but simply because the bot had identified the anomaly too early.
"Will the highest temperature in London be 13°C on May 10?" had resolved to YES. Owned 14.3 shares.
First completely autonomous successful high-multiplier trade.
Kairos will be running all day and night today, for the 1st time. He's earned it.
