@JeffVanderstelt Senior pastor for 20+ years and I’ve always kindly corrected people that say “your church” to me. I’ll say, maybe “our church” but it certainly isn’t “my church”. It’s Jesus’ church.

Do any of you share my concern when people say “I go to ‘so and so’s’ church?” I know we all believe Jesus is the Head of the Church and the Church is His bride. So why do we give ownership of His Bride to anyone else?

@ATX_fight_club @KUT Well, my son is a JR there now. My daughter graduated 2 years ago. I lived in Austin until 2024 where I pastored a church full of UT students (and one UT VP) & regularly preached at a student ministry on campus. So maybe you need to turn off your alarmist media & calm down.
