Our thoughts are with everyone in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil impacted by the devastating flooding. We’ve activated our AWS Disaster Response team in the region. They’re working with Help.NGO to capture high-resolution aerial images of flooded areas in order to support rescue operations. .@awscloud is investing an additional $9 billion (SG$12B) into our cloud computing infrastructure in Singapore. Our investments are expected to support over 12K jobs a year, and contribute $17.6 billion (SG$23.7B) to Singapore’s GDP by 2028. We also announced a new flagship #AI program in collaboration with the Singapore Government and government agencies to help enterprises, startups, and communities accelerate their adoption of AI & generative AI. Someone celebrated a big birthday over the weekend. Our family’s beloved cat, Pepper, turned 20! 🎉 We marked the occasion by giving him a cat art book, and taking a trip down memory lane. Can’t believe it’s been two decades since we brought Pepper home from the shelter. And he’s still going strong!
