A decade ago? The same flat + same lifestyle needed only ₹18–20 lakh salary. Today even ₹52 lakh feels like you’re running on a treadmill that keeps speeding up. The economy is genuinely cooked for every 9-5 salaried guy who thought he “made it.” The scariest part? You don’t feel poor… until the math hits you.

Correct me If i am wrong , What I know & understand that Presently NDA has 295 MPS in the Lok Sabha. Only 278 voted in favour of the bill with 0 Abstentions. So is it correct to assume that 17 NDA MPs voted against the bill. So Is it the 16 TDP MPs who flipped it ?

HIGH DRAMA: on a day when Assam campaigning is to end, Assam police lands up in Delhi, ostensibly to arrest Cong leader @Pawankhera who has levelled serious corruption allegations against Himanta Biswa Sarma and his wife, including alleged properties in Dubai. The Assam CM has called the allegations a brazen lie and his wife has filed an FIR, claiming passport and other documents are forged. Khera is reportedly not in Delhi. Note: when serious allegations of a ‘Pakistan link’ were made against Gaurav Gogoi and his wife, Assam govt set up an SIT to inquire into it. Report not made public but has been sent to home ministry for further action.

The deployment of a full army of police officials to arrest my colleague Pawan Khera for asking basic questions in the public interest proves that the Assam CM is disturbed, desperate, and rattled. This is not due process but instead a witch hunt, a bully using state machinery to muzzle and silence the voice of the Opposition that is exposing his many black deeds. Those who intimidate are the ones who are afraid and have much to hide. It also proves that the CM is facing imminent defeat.

@CountryGulshan Firat thing if society has a service lift then only they shld be restricting the passenger lift. Second RWA cannot collect fine other than from members- under what can they do? The delivery guy shld file a complain.

A delivery boy came to deliver an order at 2 AM. He wanted to use the lift, but there was a notice saying delivery staff are not allowed to use it, and they would be fined ₹100 if caught. He called the customer and asked if they could come down, but the customer replied, “I don’t care how you come, just bring the order.” With no other option, the delivery boy had to climb the stairs late at night to complete his job. Can we not show a little basic respect and kindness to delivery workers?

@YRDeshmukh The place i was born use to have daily power cut of 6-8 hours. 3-4 hrs is morning and then in evening. Drinking water was available once in 8 days. This was until i guess 2012-14 then things changed.

When we were kids, we used to celebrate the #EarthHour almost on daily basis every night. We were so environment friendly that we also celebrated Earthhour for days switching off electricity for the entire city. It was so normal for all of us, particularly in North. Remember??

I was comforted by a nurse from Keralam who came in every hour to check on my mother. Every single hour, she would come and check on her. She would smile, and she would hold her hand. I found myself thinking about how many sons, daughters, brothers, and sisters have been comforted in their most difficult moments by nurses from Keralam. Early in the morning, I asked her, “Do you sleep at night, or do you work the whole night?” And she said, “I work all night.” So, while the whole world sleeps, women from Keralam, not only in Keralam but also in Delhi, across the country, and around the world, are comforting people, holding their hands, and making them feel at ease.
