Everyone send some good vibes!! Carley, our beautiful, all white CH kitty has an application. A REAL application! She's had DOZENS of applications, but all stopped responding when they found out she's a little bit wobbly.
We got her from another rescue who didn't know what to do with her and her condition. Carley spent over 3 years, essentially alone in a spare bedroom with minimal interaction. It took us almost a year of constant love to get her to come out of her shell!
She can play, climb, never misses the litter box and super sweet, but people can't handle that she's a bit of a bobblehead.
But she has a very real, very good application and could finally find her forever home!!

This is Molly. She was finally found a week after her human fell down a 180-foot waterfall while hiking together in New Zealand. Her human was badly injured and rescued by helicopter, but Molly was missing. A week later, Molly was found at the base of the waterfall and reunited with her human. 14/10

Be good to see local authorities RAISING public transport fares as a) the cost of the car alternative has risen and b) costs to local authorities with diesel fuelled buses will have risen quite a lot.

@henrycooke It would be much more advantageous if the government halved the price of public transport to make it more appealing (we can only dream of 50c pre trip like Brisbane)

Playing around with bus prices v car commuting costs. If you:
- Live close to town
- Have free parking
The bus will still cost more than driving, v peak snapper fares. It doesn't really get cheaper until zone 4 at $3.20/L

there's a lot of people comparing people stocking up on fuel to panic buying toilet paper, which i kind of get, but mostly don't. the toilet paper was not getting more expensive. the fuel is!

🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔
