Between 200,000 and 300,000 Palestinians live in the UAE. Fewer than a thousand live in Iran. The Islamic Republic doesn't see Palestinians as humans — it sees us as a tool. Our cause invoked when convenient, our suffering used to justify its regional aggression.
Iran Embassy SA@IraninSA

It is regrettable that a Muslim country—one that should be a refuge for the Palestinian people—has become a strategic ally of Israel

exactly and why should the media, journalists or private citizens try to fix issues in governance? role of the media is to offer transparency to citizens and citizens to hold the elected officials accountable and responsible for their actions they don’t have to go dig for solutions to gaps in security and process 🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾

⚠️ Warning: Graphic content. Today marks the anniversary of the Baniyas Massacre, also known as the Al-Bayda and Ras al-Nabaa Massacre, one of the most horrific atrocities committed in Syria by the Bashar al-Assad regime and armed groups loyal to it. The massacre took place on May 2–3, 2013, in Al-Bayda village and the Ras al-Nabaa neighborhood in the city of Baniyas, located in Syria’s Tartus Governorate. The massacre resulted in the killing of at least 459 civilians, including 92 children and 71 women. Victims were subjected to brutal methods of killing, including summary executions by gunfire, slaughter with knives and cleavers, sexual violence, mutilation and dismemberment, desecration of bodies, burning, and dragging victims through the streets. Witness testimonies and documented reports described horrifying crimes that extended to the slaughter and burning of infants, including the three-month-old daughter of Ubaid Mustafa Bayyasi. • Al-Bayda village: more than 240 civilians were killed. • Ras al-Nabaa neighborhood: approximately 195 civilians were killed. The massacre was carried out by forces loyal to the Assad regime, local Shabiha militias, and armed groups led by Mihrac Ural, also known as Ali Kayali. Human rights organizations and survivors commemorate this anniversary each year to demand justice, truth, and accountability for those responsible for these crimes. It is impossible to forget the crimes of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, and Syrians will not forget the years of killing, violations, and suffering they endured.

Seems Socialism often achieves the opposite of its intent.
Yogi@Houseofyogi

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

Scientists made tumors look like pork, and the immune system wiped them out. In a new kind of cancer treatment, researchers in China found a way to “flag” cancer cells so the body sees them as clearly foreign. Instead of trying to hide tumors from the immune system, they did the opposite, made them impossible to ignore. The team, led by Professor Zhao Yongxiang at Guangxi Medical University, used a modified virus to insert a pig-related marker (called α-Gal) into tumor cells. Humans naturally have antibodies against this marker, so once the tumors carried it, the immune system reacted fast, similar to how it would reject a mismatched organ transplant. In an early study of 23 patients with advanced cancers (including liver, lung, and ovarian), about 90% saw their disease stop progressing, shrink, or stabilize. Some patients even had significant tumor reduction. Side effects were mostly mild, like flu symptoms, which is typical for virus-based therapies. It’s still early days, this was a small trial focused on safety, not long-term cure. Bigger studies are needed to prove how well it works over time. But the idea is powerful: instead of boosting the immune system alone, this approach makes cancer cells stand out as obvious targets. If future trials confirm these results, it could open a new path for treating hard-to-treat cancers. Source: Zhao, Y., et al. (2024), Cell

Inconvenient Truths — Jennifer Zeng Reports
👉 I showed this video to an American and asked him to guess what it was. 🤨He thought they were playing some games. ❓But the reality? These are Chinese high school students eating their lunch. Outside the bars are their parents, who deliver lunch to the school every day. Why do parents do this? 1⃣ They don't trust the food safety of the school canteen; 2⃣ The students are under such fierce competition as they prepare for their university entrance examinations that their parents believe they must be cared for in this way. In China, many parents still think that going to university is the only way out for their children. 😭Life is really hard in China.
