@GaryAPrince @henrywinter @WeAreTheFSA As do Aston Villa.
Even have the cheek to offer a discount of £10 down from £25 - probably a reciprocal agreement as we charge cheap for kids to other teams.

English

@henrywinter @WeAreTheFSA Not good news for West Ham Sullivan and Brady, they love ripping fans off. Have to charge away kids £29.50 to make up for it.

£30 cap on away tickets to continue for two more seasons, excellent news for supporters and for broadcasters wanting noisier atmospheres. Kudos to the Premier League for agreeing to extension. Fans now want clubs to listen to them over home ticket prices which “are often unaffordable and pricing out loyal fans”.
"The extension of the away cap is great news for travelling top-flight fans,” says Tom Greatrex, chair of the Football Supporters' Association. “The cap was an FSA idea which wouldn't have happened without our members' campaign work. Credit to the Premier League and clubs for listening to supporters on the importance of away supporters and keeping the cap in place for the previous 12 seasons. Long may it continue.
"We all know how much away fans add to the atmosphere in our stadiums and anything which helps them is welcome. Over the past 12 years this has saved supporters millions of pounds in total. We'd also encourage owners to listen to the voices of supporters' groups at their clubs who are telling them that home ticket prices are often unaffordable and are pricing out loyal fans."

@brianmccormick @bfcgpg The ball came from the defending left back with the attacking right wing appealing. Makes it worse is that it was right in front of the assistant.
Plus, Brentford are quite usual in not appealing. Sucks really.
English

@gbyrne1974 @HACKETTREF Oh but he did. As soon as the keeper picked it up.
The winger, who "challenged" him appealed.
But does it matter if they appeal or not?
English

@HACKETTREF True but odd that the Brentford striker wasn't appealing immediately about it
English

@LandL0rd03 @FelixLongbrook @HACKETTREF I mean, he is challenged and the Brentford player barely touches it but then the Wolves player clearly, and deliberately, passes it to the keeper. That is the offence.
English

@brianmccormick @bfcgpg He did actually appeal for it.
But it was deliberate play. The fact he was under pressure is irrelevant. He shaped up to pass to him and completed that pass even under pressure.
English

@bfcgpg Brentford player didn't seem to think it's a back pass.
I allowed a similar play in an NCAA D2 game & was evaluated poorly due to it.
That being said, you can argue it's a challenge or tackle away from an opponent & not a deliberate back pass.
Should be called, but not egregious.
English

@RichardAra3902 @bfcgpg And you're the reason refs are quitting/not signing up anymore. You probably moan about refs decisions when you're actually making laws up yourself and probably believe strongly in them.
English

@bfcgpg am i missing something here? een if it sd a back pass, I thought the keeper needs to touch the ball with feet before he is allowed to hold it with his hands which he did..
English

@refsupportuk Bet no one has criticised his performance, said he should be sacked.
And the attacker missing the penalty too. I mean, its a guaranteed goal (apparently). Bet that was the refs fault too.
English

@CammyWaffles @MG45664508 Yet last season they were our best CB partnership.
They had a blip mid season. It can happen.
Confidence is key. Hopefully its back and they do well.
Plus I like the rotating.
English

@MG45664508 Sepp and Collins absolutely can’t play together. both at their best with ajer next to each other
English

Why is Ajer benched ffs. Swear he’s not even had a knock or anything?
Brentford FC@BrentfordFC
Your Bees to take on Wolves 🐝
English

@HACKETTREF I thought you were meant to be clued up with football?
Any league that starts between March & June always get special dispensation to apply the new laws early as if they didnt, law change midway through season is not good.
Plus its not a law by IFAB. Its a rule within the league
English

Jacqui I was of the opinion that the new revised laws would not be introduced until June.
Is this a special arrangement with the IFAB

Intrigued to see how this new anti-time wasting rule plays out in the @NWSL (new season starts tonight). ⚽️ If a goalkeeper🧤 goes down and asks for treatment, no player from either side is allowed to approach their team’s technical area, unless the GK is subbed. #NWSL 🇺🇸
English

@Samwinton99 @refsupportuk So when you taking the course and improving the standards. You clearly know more than they do.
English

@refsupportuk I've complained about a ref after a game we've won multiple times. A poor ref ruins the game no matter the result and currently far too many of the refs are extremely poor
English

Even we they admit he’s an ex player. They still can’t help themselves abusing refs.
All we hear is “the problem is he’s never played the game.” ….just face up to it. They will never ever be happy unless they win. Embarrassing

For someone who actually played professional football in England you are one arrogant useless cunt Farai Hallam
English

@BadMcBeatty @Emzyl_ And thats only the over 21s. Under 21s dont have to be added to the squad list bolstering the amount of players a team can effectively have. Likes of Nico O'Reilly don't have to be named in either PL or CL squad, meaning an extra average player can be added.
English

@Emzyl_ You know they have a 25 man squad, right? Use it. An arsenal fan.
English

Reality is that stupid schedule from the English FA and PL has destroyed the PL teams this season, the games are just too many. Teams in Europe shouldn't play in the league cup, but nope, it's traditional so it's sacrosanct, no matter how stupid the traditional is, they still play two legged ties in league cup semis for no reason ffs. PL teams get no winter break and no time to rest.
PL teams worked themselves in the first half of the season and have nothing left now

I swear Donald Trump is just watching the film Pixels.
Starts off with them accusing Moscow (Russia) and Iran of attacking an American base in Guam. Saying Iran used drones.
Maybe he watched the film and thought it was true!!

Is anyone aware that @footballontnt is moving to HBO?
Not heard a thing about it at all.
Who knew.

Well done @FA_PGMOL and the absolute useless Madley (again!)...
Lets not forget VAR.
We all know The Fa want West Ham v Leeds in the QF
English

@TheAdrianDurham @antdiamond27106 Its amazing that...
We all see the same offence.
We all have our own opinions on them.
The laws of the game literally state that decisions made are "of the opinion of the referee".
That is THEIR opinion. Not yours.
On the day, each person sees things differently.

English

@antdiamond27106 I'm your opinion it was a red card. Cool. No problem. But not everyone agrees with you. Incredible to think right? But true. Plus it's irrelevant to the point being made. But that's passed you by
English

Think the form following Thomas Frank sacking shows that it wasn't anything to do with the manager but all to do with the crap players and lack of depth.
