@IntSchPrague Gr 4 kicked off their HWEO Unit with a jam session between our fabulous music teacher @SuzHig76, EAL teacher, and Art teacher. We have such talented staff! What inspires you to create?

Last night my friend and I walked into a hospital in Venice. Soon as we walk in the man at the beautifully marbled foyer tells us "this is hospital senorita, not tourist" Yes sir, I'm aware that you work in a very beautiful hospital, can you now please point us to the doctors? :)

We made it to Oct break @IntSchPrague ! As we prepare for PYP authorization we have gotten up super early every Wed to inquire into the LPAs, Key Concepts, TD Themes, the ATLs and build a POI. I am SO lucky to be part of this stellar team!

What a fantastic way to wrap the Gr 3 WWA Unit: Identity. The Ss became the Ts! Ss shared their talents while deepening their own understanding. The experience also contributed to a sense of community that is necessary for risk-taking. #IntSchPrague

On other exciting news, I lasted a full 33 days of school before changing my atelier completely. It's the longest I've gone without making big changes to a space. Now I wait to see how the space functions when children start to live in it.

@ISHRLearns is lucky to have @AriaTonini as a music T! To integrate with the 2nd Gr #pypHWEO Unit: Power of Words, her classes wrote Valentine singing grams which could be ordered and sent to loved ones with the proceeds going to a charity the Ss chose!

Going into the 3rd and final day of the CIS Child Protection Workshop. Thanks to all the knowledgeable workshop leaders @rhovington @SusieMarchPSHE DrJoeSullivan DrJordanGreenbaum and many more. Biggest take away so far, Ss need the language/vocabulary to report abuse.

@ISHRLearns 4th Gr just wrapped up their Who We Are-Making a Difference Unit. Ss had agency in who they researched. Then they wrote biographies, drew portraits, presented what they learned and used the ATLs to self-assess! @MarianneKasch @RoweKiethe

Got to take a wondering walk with @ISHRLearns 1st Graders this morning looking for simple machines. We found incline planes, pulleys, wheel and axles all at our local tram stop. So great to see the world through the eyes of a 1st Grader. @DociFrida

SeniorK Ss @ISHRLearns are innately drawn to maker-centered learning opportunities and observing them in action you can see how these opportunities initiate creative problem solving, innovation, and perseverance!

@ISHRLearns Grd3 Ss put on a planterium for their @ibpyp WWAITAS Unit. MakerSpace, Writer's Workshop, Art (glow in the dark paint!), Music, PE, and ATL development were all rolled into this Unit.I could not be more impressed by these Ss and Ts. @jennylee_teach @JamesBr97615113
