I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in college. One of my doctors told me I probably wouldn’t play baseball again, and if I did, I wouldn’t be the same player.
After my medical redshirt year, I returned after treatments. I won the starting SS position back. I became a captain. Our team had massive success.
Don’t let the naysayers stop you.

The Braves will open its 2025 campaign on Saturday, February 1 with a three-game series against Lake Erie. Due to ongoing renovations at Sammy Cox Field, the series will take place at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary.
