I’m a doctor who has seen people die from vaccine-preventable diseases. What parents need to hear right now is vaccines for measles, polio, hepatitis B and other childhood diseases are safe and effective and will not cause autism. Any statement to the contrary is wrong, irresponsible, and actively makes Americans sicker. We need to understand the real causes of autism. Studies show there’s a genetic predisposition when a mom who’s pregnant is exposed to environmental toxins which can increase a child’s risk of autism. It’s deeply troubling that, according to HHS officials, they appeared to have canceled hundreds of millions in research on autism genetics. Redirecting attention to factors we definitely know DO NOT cause autism denies families the answers they deserve. We had two children die and many more hospitalized nationally from measles this year. Louisiana is experiencing its worst whooping cough outbreak in 35 years. Families are getting sick and people are dying from vaccine-preventable deaths, and that tragedy needs to stop.

The racist disgusting comments are still happening in 2024. I'm tired of people who say it no longer exists. My daughter is a highly decorated Olympian with the biggest heart and a level of sportsmanship that is unmatched...and she's being called disgusting things.

@UHC thanks so much for denying my MRI that 2 separate orthopedic specialists recommended. I’ve been in excruciating pain since 2/12. It starts where my shoulder blade meets my back and I have rididculopathy all down my arm. Muscle spasms in my neck too. All on my dominant arm1/2

@UHC how much longer do you expect me to be in pain? I’ve tried a steroid course, 2 different muscle relaxants, heat, massage, NSAIDs. Your “nurse” recommended #Chiropractic care instead. As a nurse myself for 15 years, I can tell you Chiropractic care is not evidence based.

My Mirena is the ONLY reason I don’t have to miss work 1-2 days each month. As a teenager, I was a straight A student, but missed school every single month because of pain!

Listening to @bridgetsloan interviewing @kathyjohnsongym for her flipping out podcast. Gymnastics royalty. I didn’t think it was possible, but I love them both even more now than before! Both such classy, complimentary, grateful women! They’re amazing!
