Not cool. You can dislike a Prime Minister, disagree with a government, protest, debate and vote differently. That’s democracy. But reducing the office of India’s Prime Minister, the man, the office, and what he represents abroad, to a joke on foreign soil -doesn’t feel like the right thing or dissent - to me. It diminishes him, the institution, and ultimately, us.

Their stories were never published. Their sacrifices were never celebrated on television or social media. Yet because of them, our flag still flies high and we sleep in peace. Some wore uniforms, some worked in silence, and some gave everything without anyone ever knowing. They are the unseen guardians of this nation. A nation survives not only because of famous heroes, but also because of countless forgotten patriots whose sacrifices remain buried in silence.
