@FringedCanuck Oh, yes. Tired of this "your native land narrative." It has to be settled somehow once and for all, so we can all move on by living on the Canadian land.

Dear Indigenous Peoples, No one is actually from Canada. We are ALL settlers here. Including you. If you were to bother tracing your lineage. Your bloodline. You are all from the Asias. Mongolia ect. Hopefully that clears up all the 🐂💩 about you stating this is YOUR land. It’s not. It never was. Canada was built on a multitude of cultures from different Countries. Elbows Up!

@P_Kallioniemi Well, it's up to the USA to decide what to do, but deciding purely because someone did not thank you enough is childish at best, and making a 180 on what you support and what you do not support in a matter of days/weeks makes it difficult to expect any trust moving forward.

After 9/11, NATO's Article 5 was invoked for the first (and only) time ever by the United States. Troops from the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Spain, Poland, Norway, Romania, Turkey, New Zealand, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Finland, and many others joined the fight in Afghanistan. More than one thousand of these soldiers paid the ultimate price. JD Vance - Have you said 'thank you' once for their sacrifice?

@joshferdinandd @PierrePoilievre Should have been there, too, but it was not, which does prove your point. However, I'd still think Remembrance Day is about paying tribute to the Canadian soldiers, not about remembering the rest of the world (however bad or good it is out there right now)

Disgraceful. A high school principal tried to justify playing protest songs at a Remembrance Day ceremony, demeaning and devaluing the service of women and men who died defending our country's freedom. He should be fired now. torontosun.com/news/national/…

@RajYRaman Sure if there is hunger etc, that takes over. As soon as there is some spare mental activity, ideas kick in. But I meant religions, too, since that gives hope (but also implies rules). US just has a mix, where abortion topic seems to matter(+ or -)to all with proper presentation

@ashlega But this is not how most of developing world thinks. People would not have issues with dictator/king ruling the country if that person can deliver more income, low crime, stable economy, and better life for their children. So, it always strikes me odd with US electoral politics.

Right to kill a unborn baby is an issue that people vote on? I can only imagine how stable and secure someone life has to be that they vote based on this. Outside of the US, core issues are generally economy, jobs, education, and security.

@RajYRaman That example is talking about navigating away from the page... I guess it should be expected the context would be "lost" at that point. Not that I have ever seen my code failing because if that - the user has to be really fast to navigate away like that😀

@RajYRaman I don't know... with no other alternatives, what else can we do? Microsoft should have given some options

@CrmKeeper It's a tricky one, since this is where money matters more for Microsoft than our frustrations, so as much as I don't like the limitations, I tend to cover all bases early by informing the client that it could be an issue, then we proceed and, ultimately, start working around 😀

@RajYRaman To expand on that. Would be great if tech was a rocket science. If I always knew that A leads to B which leads to C... but tech right now is often like "well, maybe, but only if the stars align... Unless you tried it before and it worked... but even then who knows"

Tech tests your tolerance for pain and failure. If you have the stamina to try again the 101st time after failing 100 times, you will learn something new.

@a33ik It's been there for a while 😀 Can't use in the advanced find, though... (some things are just hidden from the UI, so can hardly be used without code 😀 )

Found today something new related to data querying in #Dataverse - "Filter on values in related records" - #filter-on-values-in-related-records" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/power-ap… It seems #FetchXml is one step closer to parity with SQL.

I just asked ChatGPT to tell me some jokes about the Power Platform, and it was eager to do so (perhaps it's jealous of the Power Platform success?): 1. Why did the Power Automate flow go to therapy? It was feeling a bit "workflow"! 2. Why did the Power…lnkd.in/ekTux7X9

Here is a bit of an explainer (hopefully), but, also, could not help but do a bit of a rant, too. Ultimately, even that is still an explainer I guess :) It's Dataverse, licensing, limits... all kind of mixed together #datavere #powerplatform lnkd.in/echwQ6DQ

There was always that "in the context" note in the licensing guides where a flow would have to be "in the context of an app" to be licensed through an app license. Don't get me wrong, I always tried my best to emphasize it, but it…lnkd.in/eu_PkpVN lnkd.in/esdB2dqt

@CrmKeeper Is not there a bit of marketing in the "citizen dev is simple" statement? 😀

@ashlega I love this part of the equation. We (community) seem so agree that Canvas apps are citizen dev, and refer to the code as "Excel-like Syntax". In my book it is code. If you can get a functional consultant to write that, they should also be able to write Javascript ;)
