„Non propter te hoc opus coeptum est, nec propter te, nec in te finitur.” - "It was not because of you that this work was begun, nor because of you will it end, nor in you will it find its conclusion." - these are the words St Bernard of Clairvaux (1090–1153) is said to have spoken during one of his sermons when the devil planted the thought in his mind that the congregation was very pleased with his preaching. The devil hoped that Bernard would stop his good work in order to avoid pride. A clever move by the tempter, to stop him preaching good sermons under the guise of doing good (maintaining humility). I don't know if this actually happened or if it's just a later hagiographic anecdote, but I see an analogy here with what has happened to you. Through the thought that you might be too pleasing to a male audience, there is an attempt to equate what you do with something sinful, so that you will stop. Don't stop! Always be beyond reproach when it comes to modest dress, and boldly carry out what God has placed in your heart! Proclaim His truth. 🙂

I went to chipotle today with two of my friends who found out they were both talking with the same “trad wife” at the same time. Apparently one of them built a recliner for the woman and the other one cuddled with her on it. I’m crying ts is so funny. Women are evil
