When you drop your best player and performances and results don’t improve, he’s gonna be upset.
By using his frustrations to try and turn fans against him you show your cards.
LFC obviously want to cash in on Salah, and it may even be the right move.
But to burn him down to clear that path is devastating to a fanbase who have worshipped him for the last 8 years.
No player is bigger than the club, true. But the club wouldn’t be back on its perch if it wasn’t for this player in particular.
