I share this just in case you feel like something isn’t right and you’re googling signs of depression and none of the internet symptoms fit you. That has happened to me more times than I can count. Trust your gut. You know yourself best. And you deserve to feel better. ❤️

Work, home, and self sustaining care all feel overwhelming. I walk the dog or do the dishes or play with my kid and find all of it to be nearly unbearable.

My adjusted dose of depression meds hit last night after a couple of months of feeling pretty low and I just wanted to share my experience. It’s taken me years to consistently recognize my own depression bc it can look different for different people. For me it looks like this:
