@RandyWBeachum @washingtonpost Anyone who remembers the failed attempt at permanent daylight savings time in the 70s is probably paying to avoid that fiasco. How about we just use Standard time year round not only is it the lord healthy decision it is one that works for the entire rest of the planet.

@washingtonpost Both parties have been trying to get this through the house and senate for years. Not sure who but lobbyist have been paying to stop this for years. We need to identify who’s getting paid to stop this.

@jefcjb @washingtonpost No. Most kids don't. I the winter the sun is up in the morning when they get to the bus stop. Fact is we tried permanent day light saving time in the 70s, it didn't last long.

@f0daa0c174a74ff @washingtonpost I agree with stopping the jumping, but they should just adopt standard time not forever daylight savings time. They did that in the 70s and it was a disaster, kids spending the entire winter standing in the dark at Bus Stops among other issues.

@Pirat_Nation Good for them. But, considering they will be paying out on future yet unpaid and unproduced product when the AI Bubble pops it will be fun to see what happens. They are selling memory for future Data Centers that aren't built and many places don't want.

@GTAVInewz I'd say I care but I don't. All grown up and Gaming on PC. Rockstar Launcher is absolutely junk and even though I have 2 PS5 Pros and a standard PS5, I will not be dropping money to play it. I am just to old to care about GTA anymore.

GTA 6 is getting delayed to February 2027 according to this 4chan leak as Rockstar & Take Two prepare to announce this during the investor meeting.

@Pirat_Nation Great. Nevermind the cost of a New Motherboard CPU, RAM, GPU and everything else will be so ludicrously high that no one will be able to afford to make a new build to need to buy it. Meanwhile they will quit making the stuff we can use and just push the prices that much higher.

DDR6, the next version of RAM, is planned to start selling in 2028. Major companies Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron are developing it. It will launch with base speeds of 8,800 MT/s and can go up to 17,600 MT/s. This means much higher bandwidth than today’s DDR5 memory, so computers can move data faster and handle tough jobs better. Early test samples of DDR6 are already being tried out by processor chip companies.

@CultureCrave I empathize with all the PS owners. Switch to PC you have the files and activation keys, a direct line to servers with no nanny network, and no monthly fee. Best decision I ever made was going PC after the last big PSN outage last year. People laughed at me, who is laughing now.

Any PlayStation game purchased digitally after March's sytem update will reportedly now require an internet connection once every 30 days to validate the license 🎮 If the console stays offline longer than that, the games will not launch until you reconnect (via @MrZackXOfficial)

@AullorNothing PC screw the console. Tired of lag of going through someone else's network to get to games and servers I purchased. Doesn't mean the Game Developer won't fuck you and shut down the game, but at least it is just one level of fuckery.
