@clhubes I’m a childcare provider and so many of the current little girls I look after are Margaret, Edith, Eleanor, Winifred, Tabitha, Colette, Sybil, Eugenia (goes by Genie), Betty, Judy, etc. It’s SO CUTE

@Charlen89778330 @Michelle_Summ @dajstrawb @NHSuk I would phone 119 (the NHS Covid number) and ask. Asking my GP to change back to my maiden name worked for me though - my Covid pass updated to show my maiden name.

@PaolaSammarco1 @aliciakearns @PregnantScrewed Wishing you all the best with the birth of your baby, I hope it’s a positive experience for you despite all the worry the trust have caused by doing this. The staff are amazing and are there to help when you’re on the ward, but mothers need their partners there for support too.

Under a national lockdown there is even less reason for hospitals to refuse to enact in full the new NHS maternity guidance. Women and their partners are one household - shielding together from the virus. No one should give birth or attend scans alone. #ButNotMaternity

@rachaelcatriona @aliciakearns @epsom_sthelier I gave birth at St Helier in Nov, it’s distressing to hear that the trust are banning partners again. Postnatal wards are so noisy that I couldn’t sleep at all after giving birth - I relied on the respite of having my husband able to visit & help, even if only for a short time.

Letter from senior Drs in @thetimes – mothers of new borns should be exempt from ban on household mixing during any local lockdowns. Postnatal depression = just as big a problem as Covid.

@TheGrayWay @PregnantScrewed I had a growth scan at 27 weeks and got a phone call from the antenatal dept the day before, saying one visitor was allowed to attend with me. I’d give them a call in the morning perhaps? Good luck with the scan x
