যারা ‘বাংলা', ‘বাঙালি' ইত্যাদি বলে কলকাতায় বসে হাউ হাউ করে তাদের একটি ঘটনা মনে করিয়ে দেবার জন্য। ঘটনা হয়েছিল আজকের দিনে, ২০ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০১৮ সালে, উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলার ইসলামপুর অঞ্চলের দারিভিট গ্রামে।
দারিভিট গ্রামে অনেকদিন স্কুলে শিক্ষক ছিল না। ছাত্ররা ও স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ শিক্ষক নিয়োগের জন্য, বিশেষভাবে বাংলা, ইংরেজি, গণিত ইত্যাদির জন্য দরবার করছিল। হঠাৎ দুজন শিক্ষক এসে হাজির - ওই সব বিষয়ের জন্য নয়, উর্দু ও সংস্কৃতের।
এই অদ্ভুত নিয়োগের প্রতিবাদে ছাত্ররা ফেটে পড়ে। মমতার পুলিশ তাদের উপর গুলি চালায়। এর বলি দুই নিরস্ত্র নিরপরাধ বাঙালি হিন্দু তরুণ, রাজেশ সরকার ও তাপস বর্মন।
এঁদের স্মরণে দু'ফোঁটা চোখের জল ফেলুন। আর এই পাপ সরকারকে হঠাবার সংকল্প নিন।

The depths to which the Mamata Banerjee Administration will stoop to manipulate Democratic processes know no bounds. In a blatant display of political favoritism, Ramesh Chandra Das, the Trinamool Congress Anchal President of Hasnabad Gram Panchayat in the North 24 Parganas district, has been appointed as the Booth Level Officer (BLO) for Booth No. 20, despite being a temporary worker as Assistant Teacher. Shockingly, other qualified Teachers in the same booth were deliberately overlooked to handpick a TMC leader for this critical role. This is not an isolated incident but a calculated move by the TMC machinery to infiltrate and control the electoral process by installing party loyalists as BLOs. Such actions undermine the sanctity of free and fair elections and erode public trust in our democratic institutions. I urge the @CEOWestBengal to take immediate cognizance of this grave violation and act swiftly to rectify this deliberate attempt by the Administration to favor TMC leaders. The ECI must ensure that impartial and qualified individuals are appointed as BLOs to uphold the integrity of our electoral system. @ECISVEEP

এটাকেই বলে "জন্ম-ঋণ"! আর তাই মুকুল-শুভেন্দু-অর্জুন-শংকুদেব প্রভৃতি একের পর এক তৃণমূলী লুম্পেন সাপ্লাই করে বঙ্গ বিজেপির 'নবজন্ম' ঘটিয়ে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস ১৯৯৮ সালে আদবানি-বাজপেয়িদের লেবার রুমে করে যাওয়া সেই অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রমের ঋণ পরিশোধ করছে। সব কিছু জলের মত পরিষ্কার!
