A notable update for @Replit users: @SocketSecurity Firewall is now integrated directly into the development experience and is already stopping more than 8,000 malicious packages every day before they can be installed. #Replit #CyberSecurity #Askraa
Socket@SocketSecurity

🔥 Socket Firewall is now built into @Replit's AI-powered development experience. It’s already blocking 8K malicious packages/day across builders on the platform, giving Replit users stronger protection by default the moment dependencies are introduced. socket.dev/blog/socket-pa…

Not many people know this: Askraa has not one, but two Replit Level 5 Master Builders 🚀 Richard Denton & @realfunnyeric have held Level 5 status since the program launched. Years of building on @Replit means we've learned what works, what scales, and what to avoid.

The best software doesn't always create new work. Sometimes it just removes friction that everyone has quietly accepted. #Askraa #Replit #VibeCoding

Luca (@agi2asi) built Grid to centralize 12 different Google Drives into one hub. With Replit, he turned a prompt into an AI-powered employee hub in just 10 minutes. Now, team members can ask about anything from seating charts to expense policies. Always Be Building.

This makes a lot of sense. Many enterprise teams already run on Microsoft. Bringing Replit closer to that ecosystem should make building internal tools a whole lot easier. Congrats to the @Replit and @Microsoft teams. #Replit #Microsoft #Azure #MicrosoftFabric #Askraa
Replit ⠕@Replit

Announcing our new collaboration with @Microsoft Organizations can now build internal tools, workflows, or data dashboards in Replit and publish directly to Microsoft Fabric with security, authentication, and governance built in

Imagine hacking your university, getting caught, then getting hired to secure it. Some people submit resumes. Some people submit proof of work.
Business Nerd@Business_Nerd_

Amjad Masad's first "business meeting" was getting caught hacking his own university: Before he built anything, Amjad was stuck. He was five, almost six years into a degree that should have taken three or four, watching everyone around him move on. "All my friends were graduating... And I feel like life is passing me by." The drive was already there. It just had no outlet. "I had all these big dreams and ambitions. I wanted to build companies, make a lot of money, all of that. But I was stuck." The thing standing between him and graduation wasn't his ability. He passed his classes, and did well in math and computer science. It was an attendance rule. Miss too many classes in a row and you'd be disqualified. A bureaucratic problem, not an intellectual one. So he treated it like an engineer, not a student: "I thought, okay, I'm going to hack into the school and change my grades." He spent two to three weeks in his parents' basement building the solution. Writing scripts, running network scans, probing the systems until he was in. He didn't cover his tracks and disappear. He told the school he had something to show them, walked into a room full of deans, and pitched: "I pulled out the whiteboard and explained all the different problems, all the systems they had and how I hacked into it and really pulled out all the stops and all the charisma to kind of try to impress them. And they were really impressed." That's the move. He turned a liability into a demonstration. The deans had stayed up all night trying to figure out what went wrong, and here was the one person who could explain it, selling them on his competence in the process. He almost overplayed it, assuming the presentation alone had settled things and reaching for the door: "Wait, where are you going? We've got to deal with you. You just hacked into the school. We can't let you go." What turned it around was a decision-maker who could tell the difference between a vandal and a builder. The university president didn't see a crime to punish; he saw talent to manage. "You have a great talent, great power, but with power comes responsibility." And then he made the offer that, in hindsight, looks a lot like @amasad first job: "We're going to let you go, but you're going to have to spend the summer working for the university trying to fix the vulnerabilities and the security issues." The business lesson is in that final trade. Amjad created value the wrong way then proved he could create it the right way, and got hired to do exactly that. The skill that broke the system became the skill that secured it.

The best AI products rarely come from chasing hype. They come from people who have been quietly obsessed with the problem long before everyone else noticed it. Very cool to see @Replit President and Head of AI Michele Catasta's journey come full circle.
Amjad Masad@amasad

Michele’s been applying AI on code since before LLMs existed, which is why frontier labs enjoy collaborating with our team. It’s been super fun working with Anthropic to constantly find the absolute edge of what’s possible with Claude to build great products for our customers.

Worth catching live if you’re building with AI right now ⚡ Canvas workflows, customizable auth with Clerk, builder spotlights, and live demos on where Replit is heading next. 📆 Fri, May 29 · 9AM PT RSVP: luma.com/wk8s1lit
Manny Bernabe@MannyBernabe

Big show tomorrow: 1. Beautiful apps with Canvas, with @stanhuan — explore ideas, design multiple variations, turn a design into a working app, fine-tune with design controls. 2. Customizable sign-in with Clerk, with @AlexandreCuoci — give your app its own branded login. Your users, your colors, your name on the OAuth screen, set up from a prompt. Adding real auth usually means gluing infra together by hand. Replit does all of it. 3. Builder spotlight from Race to Revenue — our series following builders as they launch their businesses. This week: Apoorva Pillutla, founder of Peterie, a marketplace for booking mobile pet groomers right to your door. Plus community updates and live Q&A throughout. 📆 Fri, May 29 · 9AM PT 📺 Live on YouTube + LinkedIn + X RSVP: luma.com/wk8s1lit

Big congrats to the @Replit team on being named to Redpoint’s InfraRed 100 for 2026. Well earned recognition for the work happening under the hood of AI infrastructure. Also a nod to the builders shipping on top of it every day. That is where it really shows up. #Replit

A lot of people talk about vibe coding as if it is theory. This is what it looks like in practice. Small teams building real tools that replace manual work. Marketing agents. Dashboards. Systems that actually get used every day. Less talking about AI. More shipping with it.
Manny Bernabe@MannyBernabe

Vibe coding is new for all of us. The only move is to jump in. Julia did, and Replit made it click immediately. "It's so simple. You can accomplish what you want to build in just a few simple prompts." The night before, she stayed up building with her coworker Lindsay. Green Security's two-woman marketing team is just getting started! Julia Holm, Green Security. Live at SaaStr.

Interesting to see AI platforms move toward unified workflows instead of isolated tools. Replit has already pushed this direction on the software creation side. Google moving similarly for multimodal media generation says a lot about where AI products are heading

We’re dropping Gemini Omni: our first step towards a model that can create anything from anything - starting with video. It combines Gemini’s intelligence with our generative media systems - representing a leap forward in world understanding, multimodality, and editing 🧵
