In #WestBengalLegislativeAssemblyelection2026 people are voting for development & jobs. I Hope BJP doesn’t let them down. You have to see the poverty in WB. Been to Sunderbans area … garibi aur underdeveloped area kya hota hai woh dekhna chahiye waha. Politicians of WB were travelling abroad , leading a luxurious life but no ampathy for the poor. Sad! Chalo ab dekhtey hai kya hota hai.

@BjornQuixote Glad you talked about your experience. Not that it will make any difference to anybody. Im experiencing the urge of dear bobby mayor along with the govt to make the area another metiabruz. But cant thank you enough for standing your ground and not selling it to the M community.

Here is how syndicates in Kolkata haunt you. You've heard the stories, it's captured in videos & a blog trail. If this can happen to Sugata Bose, me & my cousin who is an US citizen who had to literally involve US Consulate to save him, God help most! kpax72.blogspot.com/2026/04/the-gr…

@aslibaniya @nayanikaaa Paragal Khan was the commander under Hussain Shah of Bengal Sultanate. He was very keen to read Mahabharata. He asked Jiya Gangopadhyay to translate. It was the 1st Bengali translation ever. Jiya Gangopadhyay was the grand uncle of Saborno Roychoudhury, my ancestor & original 1/2

@nayanikaaa Let me share another nugget of history probably less than .00000001 people in the world know. The 1st Bengali translation of Mahabharat was called Paragali Mahabharat in the 16th century. That too from our family - Jiya Gangopadhyay, grand uncle or Saborno Roychoudhury

Meet my ancestors Krittibash Mukhopadhyay. More popularly known as Krittibash Ojha. Ojha was a title. His father was Bonomali Mukhopadhyay & brother Aniruddha Mukhopadhyay. He wrote Krittivasi Ramayan. So when someone tells "Jai Shree Ram" is a north Indian slogan, show them this

Instead of industry, healthcare or L&O, West Bengal’s election has been hijacked by confrontation, ‘Bengaliness’, outsider labels, meat bans..blah blah by TMC. I believe only the BJP can deliver that shift, from political theatre to real economic revival, jobs and investment.

The Bengali Intelligensia from Kolkata have consistently insulted Odias calling them waiters, servant class and what not. But, I see many @bjd_odisha workers saying, TMC is a good party. You have lost your connect with the people. I think Odisha needs a seperate regional party. BJD is losing it's dna completely. I cant recognise the party anymore.

You know why Madarasas are there? Because they saw Hindus and learnt that with some education even this oldest religion is becoming fucking woke-libetard-sickular and that wont suit their agenda.

August 16, 1946. Direct Action Day. Survivor of #DIrectActionDay and Noakhali riots, Rabindranath Dutta (92) recalls how naked, butchered bodies of H women were hung from hooks at Raja Bazar beef shops. Victoria College girls were raped, killed and bodies tied to hostel windows.

Ernakulam Bifurcation Demand: Why the Kerala Muslim Jamaath Wants a Separate District. Thread 1-12. 1. The Kerala model of secularism, which was designed to favour Christians and Muslims and treats Hindus as 8th class citizens, is cracking under rapid demographic shifts. As per the 2011 census, Hindus were 54.73%, Muslims 26.56% and Christians 18.38%. But recent estimates (Kerala Migration Survey 2023) show Hindus down to 53.2%, Muslims up to 29.3% and Christians down to 16.9%. 2. Muslim share in live births has surged — 44.4% in 2019 vs their population proportion — while Hindu and Christian shares lag. In some years, net additions show Muslims gaining over 104,000 members while Hindus add just 1,000 and Christians decline. 3. This demographic change isn't uniform. Malappuram stands out: it was carved in 1969 as India's first Muslim-majority district outside Kashmir. Once it was part of Kozhikode district with a historically Hindu majority, but after bifurcation Malappuram became a precedent for religiously influenced administrative changes. 4. Now, the same forces that placed Malappuram in the Muslim League's pocket are eyeing Ernakulam — Kerala's commercial engine. In 2011, Hindus were 46% and Christians 38%. With Ernakulam's Muslim population growing, the Kerala Muslim Jamaath now demands bifurcation: carve out a new district with Muvattupuzha as headquarters. 5. This mirrors the Malappuram playbook: use shifting numbers to create controllable administrative units. 6. Why bifurcation? In areas with rising Muslim concentrations, it enables localised political dominance — easier control over local bodies, resources, policing and policy. Malappuram showed how a Muslim-majority district can set distinct social norms. Ernakulam bifurcation risks creating another enclave where one community calls the shots, sidelining others. 7. In a 2016 article, author Tufail Ahmed mentioned an incident where a thirsty tourist passing through Malappuram couldn't buy lime water because all shops were shut during the day in the month of Ramzan. He said: "Unable to protest, local Hindus have willingly accepted their position as Dhimmis, second-class citizens.” 8. Beyond districts, demands escalate for more resources: recalibrating reservations (Muslim League is pushing caste census for higher Muslim quotas beyond current OBC shares), more festival holidays, and greater share in government posts/education despite Gulf-driven economic mobility in the community. 9. When population growth outpaces others in births and net addition, it translates to greater vote banks, bargaining power in coalitions, and claims on state resources — funded by all taxpayers. 10. As one group grows faster, it shifts power without assimilation or uniform civic norms — echoing concerns in other regions where minority Hindus faced marginalisation once numbers tipped (Kashmir exodus). 11. One-sided demographic growth risks turning Hindus and Christians into effective minorities in pockets, with reduced cultural space. Unchecked, this leads to gerrymandering districts, entitlement politics, and strain on society. Hindus are beginning to polarise across castes, and Christians are seeking overseas havens for self-preservation. 12. Kerala doesn't have to become the next Kashmir. But ignoring data on births, district demands and resource politics would be unwise. The Centre can preempt escalation by revoking statehood and running Kerala like a Union Territory. It may be the only way to secure the rights of non Muslims in Kerala.

I am from Maharashtra. Bjp won MH. Our CM is a Brahmin. Our Two Deputy CMs are Marathas. All are from General Category. Not ones did anyone of them has played the Caste Politics during or after Elections. After NDA won, all we found out was Faster Development, strong Law & Order and our 3 Top MH Leaders working hard for the State & its People irrespective of their Caste. As far as WB is concerned, WB Hindus found out in Last WB Election itself that their State Election is not about Caste or Language, it about the Survival of Hindus in WB. Hindus better don't fall for these Jokers who are instigating you against the only Pro-Hindu Party we have got since Independence.

The entire drama being played out in West Bengal looks very bizarre. You have the Central Machinery out in full force & yet the TMC has the gall to threaten voters. Just imagine if the central forces were not recruited, what mayhem would have happened?

This temple wasn't supposed to exist. In the 1926 riots, it was the primary target of the Muslims. It was defended by force by one of the pioneers of physical culture, who was also a close friend of Bagha Jatin and a key pillar of Jugantar. He was 57 years old at the time.

Joi Maa Kali! Joi Maa Durga! In Kolkata this evening, I prayed at the Thanthania Kalibari. This ancient Temple has a very close connection with Bengali culture and Kolkata in particular. It also has a very close association with Sri Ramakrishna, who used to pray there very often. I prayed for the prosperity, good health and well-being of the people of India.
