Eugene, Ore. — A Black Lives Matter activist and leftist wildfire expert has been arrested and charged with nine counts of second-degree encouraging child s—xual abuse and one count of encouraging s—xual assault of an animal. Michael Stephen Beasley, 63, was arrested on April 23. The investigation was initiated on April 4 after a visitor at a resort cabin reported to police that they found child s—xual abuse playing on a television that Beasley previously stayed in. Prosecutors have asked that his passport be forfeited due to his frequent travel to Thailand. Beasley runs a Substack called "Wind Shift" where he frequently rants about Trump and ICE.
