En Japón, la pregunta de 100 puntos que un maestro de primaria le hizo a sus estudiantes diciendo "solo tienen 1 minuto";
"Encuentren el error lógico en la imagen."
$1700.00 to fly to Winnipeg from Edmonton. @WestJet can fuck right off with that BS. Theu have another option for 2400.00. What are we even doing here? Fkying to Fortworth VIA United is 1200.00, make it make sense.
@mindsetmachine Weak generation, don't know how to deal with defeat, don't know how to deal with bad results, don't know how to deal with being opposed.
Today's the first day that #Winnipeg gains the maximum amount of daylight per day it can: 3 m, 45 s. We gain that amount every day through March 22, after which the amount gained per day starts to wane. We gain 3-plus minutes every day through May 10. Also, it's #PiDay. 🥧

How come the green slush fund story just went away?
@S_Guilbeault, the ultimate climate grifter, doesn't get a free pass, has embezzled millions & shouldn't have been re-elected...
...he needs to go to Federal prison, not hide out on the Liberal back bench.
I DON'T THINK THIS SHOULD JUST 'GO AWAY'.
Cancel the fucking Air Canada CEO for not speaking perfect French on the spot...
...but the Governor General of Canada - Mary 'English only' Simon - still can't speak a word of French after years and $50,000+ in taxpayer-funded lessons???
She's the King's representative.
Quebec-born.
Supposed to embody BOTH official languages.
Yet she sticks to English and Inuktitut while the rest of us get lectured on bilingualism - or else.
This isn't reconciliation.
This is elite hypocrisy on steroids.
If you can't do the job in both languages, get the fuck out.
How much more of this two-tier bullshit are we supposed to swallow?
Should the Governor General have to be fluent in French — or is the whole official bilingualism scam just for the little people?
💥YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED TODAY, RIGHT?💥
Air Canada just forced their CEO Michael Rousseau to retire this year - record profits, turned the company around after COVID, but apparently not good enough.
His crime?
Sending an English-only condolence message after the deadly New York crash.
Meanwhile, Governor General Mary Simon (Quebec-born, years of taxpayer-funded French lessons) still can't speak proper French and gets a free pass.
This is peak Canadian bullshit.
Bilingualism is mandatory... unless you're connected enough.
Performance, safety, results?
Irrelevant.
Speaking the "right" language (or not) is what actually matters to these elites.
If the CEO of Canada's biggest airline gets cancelled for English, but the King's representative doesn't have to bother - then the whole official languages scam is a fucking joke designed to control regular Canadians.
Fire the hypocrisy, not the competent people.
How much more of this two-tier clown show before we say enough?
Got a letter from the HOA yesterday
Actual letter
In an envelope
With a stamp
In 2026
The letter said my trash can was visible from the street for too long on collection day
The fine is $50
I checked my Ring camera
The truck came at 7:03am
I brought the can in at 7:14am
11 minutes
$50
That's $4.55 per minute of trash can visibility
My therapist charges $250 an hour
That's $4.17 per minute
My trash can sitting in a driveway is now more expensive per minute than therapy
I looked at the letter again
It was signed by the HOA president
Her name is Karen
Of course it is
I know this woman
She lives four houses down
She still has Christmas lights up
It's March
I know because I drive past them twice a day
And because that's what I do
I checked the HOA bylaws
All 47 pages
Section 4.2 says all exterior fixtures and lighting must be seasonal and removed within 30 days of the applicable holiday
Her lights have been up for 97 days
I went to the HOA meeting
Tuesday night
7pm
In a church basement
Folding chairs
Fruit platter that nobody touched
Seven people showed up
Four of them were on the board
The other three were there to complain
I was there to read
My wife came with me
She didn't want to
But she said "if I don't come you'll end up on the news"
I brought my legal pad
Karen called the meeting to order
She talked about community standards
She talked about property values
She talked about the importance of curb appeal
From a woman whose Christmas lights are still blinking in March
I raised my hand
She said "we'll take questions at the end"
I said "it's not a question. It's a point of order."
She looked at me
I opened my legal pad
I said "Section 4.2 requires seasonal decorations to be removed within 30 days. Your Christmas lights have been up for 97 days. You fined me $50 for 11 minutes of trash can visibility on collection day while you've been in violation for over three months."
The room was quiet
One of the other three complainers said "he's right"
The board members looked at each other
Karen said "that's a separate issue"
I said "it's the same bylaws"
She said "we'll review it"
I said "I already did. Page 12. Happy to share my highlights."
My wife looked at the ceiling
Some things never change
Karen said "I think we should move on"
I said "agreed. I'll move on when the Christmas lights do."
Nobody laughed
I wasn't joking
I paid the $50
Because it's $50 and I'm not going to die on that hill
But if the rules apply to me they apply to everyone
So I filed a formal complaint about the lights
With photos
Timestamped
Funny how surveillance works both ways
The fine for seasonal decoration violations is $75 per occurrence
She's been in violation for 67 days past the 30-day grace period
I'll let her do the math
Or I'll do it for her
Because that's what I do
Make common sense common again
Plz fix. Thx.

John leaned on Jesus' chest at supper.
Stayed at the cross when every other man ran.
Outlived all twelve. Beaten. Boiled in oil. Exiled to a rock in the ocean.
Thirty years later, Jesus appeared to him in glory.
John didn't worship. Didn't kneel. Didn't lift his hands.
He fell at His feet as dead.
As dead.
Peter did the same thing. After the miraculous catch — boats sinking under the weight — Peter didn't celebrate.
He said: "Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord."
Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. Seraphim crying, Holy. And the prophet said: "Woe is me! for I am undone."
Job argued with God for 37 chapters. Then God showed up. Job said: "I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes."
Every tough man in the Bible who saw the living God had the same reaction.
Not awe. Not worship.
Collapse.
Now look at us.
Walking into church with coffee. Nodding at sermons. Shaking hands in the lobby. Forgetting it by Tuesday.
We think we've been in God's presence.
If you'd been in God's presence, you wouldn't walk out the same way you walked in.
The men who saw Him couldn't stand.
We can barely be bothered to sit.
When Jesus returns, there will be no more heroes. No more performers. The hero and the villain will stand equal at last — empty-handed, bare-faced, finally free to be merely beloved...
Today's the 1st day of #spring! #Winnipeg's got a lot of snow that needs melting and has only had a small tease of anything resembling decent weather. HOWEVER, including today, we have gained 4 h, 5 m, and 23 s of daylight since the Winter Solstice. That's something to celebrate!
