If you give Pangram a random jumble of words, it should be classified as human-written. Unless, of course, an AI generated that list
I have no idea why this works btw

thebes@voooooogel
@turtlelambvase @norvid_studies @lu_sichu @max_spero_ i had the same intuition as norvid's op and my sense is random text would bias towards human because pangram is calibrating for *specific* basins of ai post-training text where human is the default / low false positives. some evidence

Lately I've been practicing unassigning stress to myself. I find my mind spinning up proto-worries about something and ask sincerely "Do I need to be worried about this?" and most of the time it's a no and so I drop it
I don't think this was a mental move I was previously capable of but a couple things have changed
- Dropping the things that used to worry me enough times to find that life stays intact and safety is continuous, meaning it's okay for me to live without those neuroses and actually maybe I never needed them continuously maintained in the first place
- Couldn't accurately assess threat levels before because triggers and projections made me reactive, but now if my intuition says it's not dangerous it's accurate and my reaction can be proportional to the severity of the situation
- Getting better at boundaries instilled a sense of self-trust and safety that no amount of managing external circumstances could replace. Much of the "worrying" was actually an attempt to pre-emptively avoid fear, pain, disappointment, grief, etc. by manipulating the situation *because I didn't believe I could stand up for myself* if the situation called for it
- Spending time with securely attached people who aren't bothered by intimacy, awkwardness, conflict, and the general messiness of being human has shown me a loving, low-shame way of navigating relationships, and they also tend to not be bothered by small things in general (e.g. environmentally or logistically). I find myself calibrating to their lower neuroticism in the areas I used to be high.
It turns out you can worry about like, 90% less than before and life pretty much runs the same but it's much more relaxing

Imagine Latin were treated as a sacred language, and Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Romanian were not allowed to be called languages, but only “mere dialects of Latin”. At best, they would be labelled “Italian Latin”, “Spanish Latin”, “Portuguese Latin” or “Romanian Latin”.
Their speakers would all simply be called “Latins”, and their languages officially treated as forms of “Latin”, even though actual spoken Latin had long disappeared from daily life.
Then foreigners would go and learn Classical Latin, expecting to use it across those “Latin countries”, only to discover that nobody actually speaks it at home or in the street.
Ridiculous, no?
Well, that is essentially the situation with Arabic.

If you want to actually change someone’s mind, you have to care about the conditions under which minds change.
Minds rarely change under humiliation. They rarely change while cornered. They rarely change while being publicly defeated. They rarely change when the change requires immediate exile from their people.
People need bridges.

Surprising - that with all the ai goldrush going on, nobody has cracked ai dating apps in a big way yet.
Prediction: people will get married as a result of Grok’s matchmaking - how it’ll work:
- Elon will rollout Xai Dating, calling it something cheesy like Xxai or something idk
- Location specific, Grok will completely synthesise the entirety of your tweets to create a psychological profile of all your likes, dislikes, values, political alignment, etc
- It’ll go bing bing, “We think you’re most compatible with these eligible bachelors/bachelorettes!”
Seems like an obvious play.
Zuck could very well beat him to it - tf else is meta ai even doing?
