My 2024-2025 Update, Safeguarding Self-Audit document is released next week. A comprehensive 28-section audit, that covers all areas within KCSIE. Every section can be RAG rated and comes with full desirable criteria. Please let me know if you would like a copy.

You can tell the summer holiday is looming because the last minute, no notice requests for strategy meetings, CiN meetings, all sorts of meetings are coming in thick and fast. This, on top of everything else, is a lot. I’m exhausted today. Solidarity if you are too 🧡✊🏽

This week has made me realise the transition (and jump!) from Head of Department to Acting Assistant Head - it's feeling very real! Did the handover with new HoDs this week - stepping out of what's become a real comfort zone for the past 3 years!

Further changes being finalised for the PSHE Booklet, entitled: Safeguarding: Protecting ourselves and each other. This is a booklet for student use. Whilst it’s not yet finished, it will be by tomorrow. Once done, I am happy to send it out to all that would like it.

Today @UCGSchool we celebrated our Y9 students who achieved the Silver Award as part of our Ad Astra (to the stars!) Curriculum that supports student personal development. During the celebration, students enjoyed a breakfast with their peers! #growth
