Liam Hendriks was Twins minor league pitcher of the year in 2011. That offseason I ranked him as their #5 prospect. As you can see from my write-up, I never could have imagined him becoming a hard-throwing All-Star closer. And neither could the Twins. They waived him at age 24.

Complete oversimplification. They aren’t arresting random brown people. They are doing targeted raids. As I conceded, there will of course be mistakes made. And people who have their rights violated have the legal protections and the ability to pursue legal retribution. I support that. Thats why we have civil rights. Even in honest mistakes, rights cannot be violated. Set up a fund for those people. But this is the exception not the rule. I don’t expect perfection in a nationwide sweep when we have allowed 12+ million people to pour into our country in a matter of years. But again, your compliance and silence in the face of blatant civil rights violations and lukewarm at best rebuke of BLM violence, just suggests your civil rights activism is a narrow spectrum. Which is fine. I love free speech. But your rebuke of people like me who aren’t demanding an end to ICE raids makes zero impact on me. Not compelling. Adults can look at a situation like the deportation op and understand eggs will get cracked and victims should and will have recourse. Doesn’t mean we should revert back to status quo, which was entirely unsustainable. What I can support, like any business, is a pursuit of increased efficiency and accuracy. But I flatly reject that ICE agents, who are your fellow American citizens, are randomly plucking brown people off the street.

When people like this (who cheered on the tyrannical Covid regime and were silent as BLM k*lled and caused billions in property damage) try to lecture you on civil rights, tune them out. Dude actually blamed “alt-right” for the BLM riots (no, seriously). Now, he wants to be the moral authority on civil rights because people/criminals who entered the country illegally are being deported. I like Sean in a professional sense. Very smart. But this smug lack of self-awareness is bordering on pathological. It’s easy to “stand for civil rights” when it’s socially acceptable and your bubble and media tell you you’re a hero. Covid was one of the biggest infringements on civil rights in American history. People lost their jobs. Companies and livelihoods were destroyed by govt decree. Others were coerced into getting an experimental jab that didn’t work. Many were deplatformed and ostracized. If you failed that test, honestly your opinion on other matters is meaningless to me. I will celebrate the ACTUAL civil rights movement that righteously restored equal rights to American citizens under the law. I WILL NOT support allowing millions of illegal aliens to stay in this country. Do not let people like this bully you into this false choice. It is not immoral to enforce federal law.

Football played in extreme elements isn’t really indicative of who’s better at football. It’s more about adaptability than skill. Sure, it’s dramatic, but it turns the game into something else entirely.

Can someone who has children confirm something? I was told colleges profit greatly off of application fees. They get 10s of thousands of applications, charge up to $80 each, accept maybe 10 percent of them but haul in a boatload of $$$$ off them?
