@Addicted2Adv I think most people were in denial much like when the Phantom Menace came out. We waited over 20 years for this slop?. There are good moments but nothing memorable like the previous films.

I just can't agree.
Crystal Skull, like Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, had some interesting elements... but the sum of the parts was not on par with previous entries in their respective franchises.
Doesn't mean I hate them, but let's not pretend they're "masterpieces." 🙄

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull was a flawed masterpiece and even more relevant with the UFO issue today than ever. I never understood the criticisms. George Lucas gave audiences exactly what he promised and was authentic to the genre and time-period.
