@sbangar672 That's of very less margin... SII produces ~70mn doses a month and Bharath biotech produces ~8mn doses a month... Just one-tenth. though not negligible... It's a minute difference.

Cost per #vaccine for central govt =150 Amt spent on vaccines so far =3K Cr Yet to be vaccinated=114Cr * 2(2 dose/person)=228 Cr Amt reqd for this=34000 Cr When the centre has alloted 35K Cr for buying vaccines, why ask states to buy vaccines,that too for higher rates #COVID

@sbangar672 Agreed that there's high vaccine wastage in States like jharkhand, chattisgarh and TN. But the National avg is ~7%. That's hardly 2,500 Cr. Nowhere comparable to the promised 35,000 Cr.
