I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet, but one of the scariest thoughts is that a rider would crash into a ravine and nobody sees the crash, and the rider is just missing. Would it be technically possible to combine crash notifications or GPS trackers so a notification with location is sent when a rider crashes? GPS tracking is already present in races like the Tour de France, crash notifications are a feature on some bike computers. Thoughts?

I regularly cycle up Nandi and there have been multiple incidents of idiots on the road harassing cyclists.
Luckily I got one person on video yesterday.
