The answer is a resounding yes. Retatrutide is the gateway. Society has never wanted to lose weight more. For most guys, the only thing stopping them from starting TRT is the fear of needles. The rightwing bubble is one of the most statistically illiterate districts in the discourse when it comes to immigration. Here are a few of the things they don't seem to know: (1) Indian H-1Bs are only a tiny percentage of the total legal immigrant population in the US (about 1 to 2%). (2) Just because a group might suck in Europe (e.g., Pakistanis, Lebanese, Turks), doesn't mean they suck here in the US. (All of those groups I named outperform whites on income and education here in the US). (3) Legal immigrants (including from many nations in the developing world) drive innovation and tech company creation here in the US at a higher rate than do native-born Americans. (4) While Indian immigrants display more in-group hiring bias than native-born whites, the amount of this bias is only average among immigrant groups.

Reta will likely become the #1 selling drug in the world. Good news: People will lose weight while they are on it. It may even help with addictions. Bad news: That weight will be regained when reta is stopped. Many may also lose interest in things they previously enjoyed due to GLP-1's role in pleasure pathways in the brain. It surely helps people, but at what cost?

These numbers are shocking. It's like we got a new frontier AI model but for the body. Lilly's phase 3 results for retatrutide: > highest dose lost 28.3% of body weight in 80 wks > 70 lbs ave > 45% lost 30% or more of their body weight > 65% on the top dose no longer clinically obese Retatrutide is more dynamic than semaglutide and tirzepatide because it targets three receptors (GIP, GLP-1, and glucagon), versus one and two, respectively. Side effects, on the highest dose (12mg), were higher for retatrutide than tirzepatide (nausea and GI), with an 11.3% drop out rate. The lowest 4mg dose still delivered 19% loss with fewer dropouts than placebo.

@docrr_28 @bryan_johnson Unfortunately they’re only testing on obese people who are less likely to be in the gym resistance training and eating protein to protect their muscle mass. Would take stats with a grain of salt allegedly the glucagon component helps preserve.

The efficacy is undeniably historic, but at 30% total weight loss, we still don’t know about the impact it will have on lean muscle mass and bone density. The real test will be phase 4, so that we can know about its long term effect on the musculoskeletal system and other GI side effects if any.

I will not be buying $PLNT as their seemingly unstoppable growth trajectory was carrying their valuation. The illusion has been popped and I don’t expect it to come back.

I see no way for the Company to market their way out of this. People need to reach the conclusion that being not fat from not eating alone is less healthy than being fat with some degree of muscle mass and/or cardiovascular capacity.

I believe the main catalyst for $PLNT’s slowing member growth rate is the rapid adoption of GLP-1s. A fat person’s prior first step towards weight loss was signing up for Planet Fitness. They realize it’s way easier to hop on a GLP than radically change their habits.

Gen Z and the freaks following us will not tolerate 40 hours per week for 40 years. Social media woke us up to the possibilities, and I believe we’re more “awake” to what the corporate game really is. Retalog 10: FIGURED IT OUT I figured out the key to recovery on Retatrutide. I’ve been consistently observing disrupted sleep and lower recoveries. I believe the answer to this is to eat some hours before bed time. Doing so is useful without Reta in play. However with it in play, your body takes longer to digest the same things as it did before. Meaning that if you eat 2 hours before bed, possibly sufficient previously, your body will likely still be digesting when you go to sleep reducing the quality of your sleep. I’ve anecdotally had great success with this slight alteration and would be curious what others have seen. Trying to eat last meal as early as possible from here on.
