Maybe somebody at @whop can explain me why they have nearly 43% fees on a product sold via the marketplace? Would be interesting to know. Quick maths how much is left: 9,99€ - 1,90€ VAT which is variable between 19%-27% if you are a EU seller and sell to EU countries. So best case is you have 8,09€ left after regular Taxes on a sale. 8,09€ - 4,70€ (Stripe + WHOP) = 3,39€ On these 8,09€ you also need to pay still additional taxes, at least if you are in Germany, so 2-3€ will be left in the end. Thats not even enough for a slice of pizza, thanks for nothing :)

It has been a deeply disappointing experience dealing with Sixt. Despite their assurances to return my deposit of 1.5k€, it has now been over 60 days and I am yet to receive it. Furthermore, instead of addressing this issue promptly, they have attempted to charge an additional 1.9k€ for alleged damages to the rims, which I firmly deny having caused. At this point, it seems evident that there may be some financial instability within the company, leading to such mishandling of customer affairs. I believe the attempted charges are unjust and unsupported by evidence, as the condition of the rims was properly documented upon the vehicle's pickup. Given the circumstances, I am now considering seeking legal counsel to resolve this matter. It is regrettable that it has come to this, but I am left with no choice if I am to recover my rightfully owed deposit and dispute the unwarranted charges. In addition to the aforementioned issues, it's worth noting that Sixt's recent decision to sell off their existing electric vehicles may indicate potential liquidity concerns. This, coupled with their attempts to extract additional charges from customers, suggests a worrying trend of prioritizing short-term financial gains over customer satisfaction and fair business practices. It raises questions about the company's stability and long-term viability, which customers should take into consideration when choosing a car rental provider.
