@AsaRodger Well I do love table tennis! I have tried to find ways to stay in shape that my body can handle and that are not incredibly boring. Hard for you because you have done fun social things, many of which may be ruled out.

@atecoats Oh god mate, feel it for ya! I’m never one to complain about ‘feeling old’ but honestly my 30s are hitting me hard. I hear ya on playing to strengths – just don’t even know what mine are anymore… Ping Pong?!

After a back to back broken pinky, and a dislocated ankle I'm all done with sports – unless it's darts, pool, bowling... those kinda sports 😅 But things like fight sports and basketball, I'm through with it. Not even old yet and I'm feeling geriatric as fuck! 😣

@AsaRodger Similar situation here. Just got to work out what your body can handle and play to the strengths I think. My knees are useless and rule out a lot. Getting old!

I'm carrying so many niggles from injuries throughout the years. I sleep so well, eat a solid diet, stretch almost daily, get remedial massage done, supplement vits, drink nothing but water (& coffee) and STILL my body can't keep up. Is there something I'm missing at my end?

I'm taking over the film page at the Week. We do a theme sidebar. Eg films about amnesia or (my favourite) films about monks. Help me: what are good films about siblings?

@adamfleetmovies I'm not a writer, but I got a Pixelbook Go and it is good. Chromebook does most of what I need. If you are just going online and writing, Chromebooks can be a lot cheaper and won't slow down until updates are discontinued.

Does anyone out there (particularly writing folk) have a recommendation for a decent laptop? Mine is about to die, I generally only need it for writing.
