The 2023 Marching Green and Gold Informational Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00pm in the AHS Auditorium! We will go over the band calendar, fees, and reveal the 2023 show theme and 2024 AHS Spring Band trip destination! Spread the word!

Great job by our students in the OMEA District 17 High and Middle School Honor Bands! Mr. Backes was especially excited to welcome back longtime friend and colleague Dr. Jackie Townsend to Ohio as our high school honor band conductor!

Congratulations to the Athens Winter Guard for placing 4th at the The 8th Annual Warrior Legacy: Indoor Performing Arts Competition! Students also placed 2nd and 3rd in high school equipment solos!

Congrats to our AHS Symphonic Band for earning an Excellent (II) rating at OMEA Large Group adjudicated event at Shawnee State!
