Well, I finally got home from hospital late Tuesday evening. I'm currently still on home oxygen and will be for some time so unlikely to be spotted in the field for quite a while but its a start

I've had a relapse of my long standing illness. Been in hospital 9 days so far & over the worst although it was another near miss. Told its going to be a very long & slow recovery this time so might not be out & about for some time. Cheers everyone

@atherbron He's ill, if you saw the last game between the Patriots and the Broncos he was on. Looked really poorly and lost a lot of weight.

It’s been a fantastic start to the year for geese lovers, long may it continue! Couldn’t resist a gander at @TimGeRob’s 6 Taiga Bean Geese at Woodland (Durham), some great scope views in superb surroundings. They shunned the Greylags, but the 5 Russian White-fronts succumbed.
