This is a positive direction towards improving the revenue raising capacity of the Bangsamoro gov’t. Many thanks to Minister Ubaida Pacasem and the IFPB members for continuing our strong cooperation in pursuit of meaningful fiscal autonomy in the BARMM.

In today’s 4th Intergovernmental Fiscal Policy Board (IFPB) meeting between the National govt and the @BangsamoroGovt, we approved the guidelines on the collection and assessment of taxes devolved to the BARMM (i.e. DST, CGT, donor's tax, and estate tax).

We hear talks about the PH economy slowing down, along with the global economy, in 2023. After a likely over 7.0% growth in 2022, yes, we may slow down, given still elevated external headwinds & internal challenges, but the economy will remain comparatively strong in 2023.
