When the UAE joined the Abraham Accords, it did so with clarity: recognition of Israel + genuine people-to-people peace + continued support for the Palestinian people. This is the Emirati model: realism and forward-thinking. Many countries should learn from it.

@_A_khalifa The Abraham Accords work because they bypass the veto of rejectionist politics. Trade, security, energy, technology, and normalization create facts on the ground that terrorism cannot match. The region should follow the states choosing a future over permanent grievance.

THE ABRAHAM ACCORDS! The entire region will move towards them. Enough with the divisions and terrorism! The UAE is a founding member and knows exactly what it’s doing so follow its lead!

When the UAE decided to join the Abraham Accords, it did so from a position of principle and clarity: recognizing Israel, building genuine people-to-people peace, and continuing to support the Palestinian people (not Hamas, not terrorists). The UAE is a model of rational statecraft that many countries should learn from and follow.

Tomorrow is the beginning of my last full week living in Scotland. Next Sunday (7 June), I will be making Aliyah, moving to Israel, and becoming an Israeli citizen. For years, I have written and spoken about Jewish peoplehood, indigeneity, exile, and home. Now I get to live it for myself. Not as theory. Not as history. But as my reality. After 2,000 years of exile, it is extraordinary that Jew can come home.
