Ok hear me out Everyone waiting for "the dip" should study feb–jun 2017. Nasdaq hit RSI 80+. then went another 10% higher. RSI cooled off as it went higher. sounds nuts? it was. shorting? never. markets stay irrational longer than you stay solvent.

My advice to students who want to move to ML for predictive analysis: nail econometrics first. This may sound like a no-brainer but brother I've met too many people who just have gone straight to the former.

The Databento support team is staffed by actual humans who are very good at their jobs. I highly recommend just being upfront and honest with us... you downloaded the wrong data / didn't realize subscriptions renewed / created multiple accounts. Awesome let's fix that and restore things. We've seen allllll the mental gymnastics trust me... threats, name-calling, etc. Reminder that you can always choose another vendor and yell those threats at their AI chatbot instead.

This entire thread is interesting to me… because I lived in the Mexico City for nearly 2 years before seeing a cockroach. Saw one for the first time walking in reforma one night and made the comment that I thought the city was surprisingly clean for being so massive. It’s been nearly half a decade and I’ve still never seen one in my house.
