@abaliphoto You can absolutely create image heavy books in Atticus! That said, it was created primarily for text-based books so it can take a bit of extra tweaking to get it to look the way you want. We don't have a free trial but we do have a 30-day refund guarantee. Hope that helps!

@darkoarmy We aren't actively working on mobi exports at this time. Last year Amazon stopped accepting mobi files for uploading to KDP and recently announced that they would no longer support mobi files in "send to Kindle" either. kindlepreneur.com/mobi-is-dead/

@JohnathanReid @ScrivenerApp We love problem solving! What is it that you've found lacking in virtual corkboards? What is it you are getting from the paper version that you haven't been able to recreate virtually? We'll be adding drag/drop scenes later this year and hope that can be part of the solution.

All the writing software in all the world still isn't good enough to replace printed paper cutouts for many editing authors. It's an interesting problem that virtual corkboards or electronic whiteboards have yet to adequately solve. What say you @ScrivenerApp and @AtticusWriter?

@JohnLynchBooks @AtticusWriter is the best and most cost effective formatting software for ebook and print editions (although it is much more than that). Vellum is also excellent, but more expensive and Mac only.

@SaketkooMD @colelaynewrites All that to say, we probably won't have all of those features but we do plan to support non-fiction and varied layout options in the future.

@SaketkooMD @colelaynewrites You're welcome! I wouldn't say it is hopeless but I can say that it is a delicate line we are walking between allowing for quick, easy formatting and wanting to have everything for everyone. It is difficult to have one without sacrificing the other.

@AtticusWriter is there any possibility for an iOS app in the future? Or does it currently work on a mobile device? I write on my phone at times and this would be a game changer.
