Today, Atul pushed a new app version and asked Medha and me to use our Buddy chat feature instead of WhatsApp for our daily communications going ahead (which are anonymous in Appa btw) Except for some minor lags, a microphone feature that's a bit underwhelming, links not opening directly in the app, everything else works like a charm!! 🧿 Medha and I also spent many minutes laughing at some of the user delight elements. Knowing that they'd be theoretically added was one thing. Experiencing them implemented is just next level. 🤣 Atul, it was amazing to see this is the first time you asked me to replace my WhatsApp usage with our app, and it was the perfect moment to do so🙌🏽 @atulk_im @BaddarMedha

i don’t understand why startups raise money if you need $2m, you can simply sell 2 million $1 subscriptions then you still own the whole company feels like vcs have done a very good job hiding this from founders

The good thing about nosql db, is you can modify the schema as per you go. Was designing notes section, additional use cases kept coming up. Firestore helped sort it out speedily. Will change the db when users increase or I perfectly master the schema of each component of app.

I was designing chat interface in an app. A simple thing - forward a message option should be there, so should broadcast. Broadcast was discussed, but ownership comes when you go on to add forward functionailty too with search included. You are thinking right, then maybe!!

I started with 6 improvements more needed till Wed, made a stop at 35 after co-founder's meet. Don't like it, have to reschedule future things. Feedback should be well received imo. In pic - Cried at 29 improvement.

@UIDAI We have been trying to unlock biometric for our Aadhar card since last 24 hours. Even though UIDAI website shows unblocked status, we are not able to do verification for UAN number.

@_wallwalker Think from a customer lens. Use the app/website for similar products and then use yours, first you fix basic elements and then you move onto the advanced parts.

@atulk_im Considering this, how do you as a dev gauge if an idea is valuable / good? What the product or features should look like? Would like to understand from an engineering lens.

In this era of AI, while developing stuff, devs should keep in mind what should the product look like + adding/discussing features. Development is easy now, but what you bring next to the table i.e. ideas should be valuable now.
