@YankeesFan1211 Saw this in southeastern Vermont. Moving roughly south to north in the western sky. Started as a fuzzy object, then seemed to slow and kind-of unfold.

Anyone else see this in the sky tonight?? It was moving slowly in the sky, and appeared to be rotating. Then it began to lower and suddenly disappeared. This was taken from the Jersey Shore

I have some big career news: I'll be joining the team over at @stripe as their climate research lead, helping to scale permanent carbon removal to meet the challenges of dealing with hard-to-decarbonize sectors of the economy and drawing down atmospheric CO2 later in the century.

@lilingmarie How true! We discussed this issue before posting the piece, and want to follow up addressing this issue. But the reality (unfortunately) is the Americans get emotionally involved—and might be able to sacrifice—if they see themselves in the victims. Thank you for your comment.

@atwilson How about extending those resources to all countries that have been the victims of war? Cafes and boutiques do not make the Ukrainians uniquely deserving of clean energy and resilient infrastructure. All aggressors should be shunned and all invaded nations assisted equally.
