@Gamesager i think the issue brother is that the clips you posted were very sloppy at best + high guard just does not have the player count to support meaningful SBMM. The best FPS gamers dropped that shit instantly because it is just not a good game right now.

@cat_theori The Souls series owes a lot to King's Field, so I can be equally pedantic and say Soulslike is a misnomer and it should be called Kingsfieldlike.

You can't say a game is influenced by E33 on here, you have to say it's inspired by Mario & Luigi even when you can see for yourself that they looked at E33 directly for inspiration. JRPG fans are the most insecure, willfully dense people on this website and it's not even close.

@JackHer14432849 Trails and Persona don't have chain parries. The parry system of E33 is inspired by Sekiro more than it is Mario & Luigi. I have played many JRPGs in my life, this is literally what most of this twitter account is about

@Sebbywebz I agree the performances were great & the music added to these scenes a lot - but that’s as far as e33 went. The gameplay is a stripped down version of turnbased designed to appeal to brainrotted masses with small att. spans, all in a UE5 shell, with the story falling off in act3

There's a reason no one takes the JRPG community seriously They call Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 "mid", "slop" and "baby's first JRPG" At the same time, they say games that look like they were made for literal babies "peak" Look at these two scenes. See if you can spot the difference: Do you really think the only thing that sets these apart is that one has realistic graphics, and the other doesn't? E33 elevated the genre. But instead of celebrating it, the worst side of the JPRG community tried to tear it down

@dylantetzner @TaxiDLegend It’s not brain dead to be unaware of something that was changed in the last 24 hours lol. I can put all 5 of my expedition skill points into it and keep the rest of the tree the same.

My new skill tree in Arc Raiders, majorly influenced by @TaxiDLegend. Really think this gets all of the perks in the game that really effect your gameplay if you're not planning on using free kits all the time.
