I don’t think this mode is that much of an issue, but game modes like reload and blitz are things that creative developers can easily provide and create more traction for the community in general.

This is a terrible precedent for Fortnite to set. They took one of the most popular creative maps and turned it into their own mode. Creators won’t be able to out compete Fortnite if they decide to produce replicas of the most popular maps. All of this to solve a problem that didn’t exist.
