Roblox is updating the Roblox Plus Private servers. Starting september 21 you can only have one free private server per game, if you have more you will have to pay the creator set price.

Some LG, Alienware, and Dell monitor owners have discovered that simply plugging their monitor into a Windows PC can automatically install adware without asking for permission first. Users are mad because the app immediately starts showing McAfee pop-up ads after it’s installed. Apparently, this happens because Windows automatically downloads companion apps for supported devices, while Windows handles the installation, monitor manufacturers decide what the app does after it’s installed.

Roblox just included 2 malicious extensions in an OFFICIAL SURVEY. These 2 extensions provably hacked users as reported by many people like Rolimons, sharkblox etc. And the malicious code used by those extensions were archived by me here web.archive.org/web/2025100315…

No hard feelings 🥰 it's not that we don't improve UX it's that we do it slowly and iteratively in places that seem to need improvement the most. So many folks love our simple no frills UI I fear they'd bring out the pitchforks if we did a big fancy overhaul / revamp. Spaceship has the luxury of being subsidized by Namecheap and being able to create a whole new brand without abandoning their main userbase, unfortunately we're not able to do that quite yet.
