not only do your posts have to be very long, but your posts wont get pushed out as much once you monetize (they will get marked as "not yours" because of people who post your content first! so you get hidden + demonetized. no matter how fast you are, there is always someone who is faster!!) if you dont monetize your account, everything gets pushed out even if someone else did it first 🫶 i always recommend people to view tiktok/instagram etc as a way to get reach, not money, because otherwise you lose out on reach by a LOT! but that is just my advice, everyone is different. HOLY YAPPING SORRY HAHAHA

Later, @TikTokSupport told me Streamers are not allowed to monetize their clips. If you're a streamer trying to earn on TikTok, just be aware that they will demonetize you for *checks notes* posting stream clips... even if it's edited and structured specifically for TikTok shorts...
