@Csimps41 Normally at least back then. Cubs will give rookies high number during season. Once I made team 2001 , I wanted a single digit number. #1 was available

@augieojeda Augie, was there a reason why you wore 57 after Jamie Arnold got 55 in 2000? Did you want to keep 57 or were you happy to switch to No. 1? Did the Cubs force you to switch or was it your decision?

@augieojeda Augie, have a jersey question for you. I know when u came up u wore No. 55 & then I believe switched to No. 57 for Andrew Lorraine. When u made the Opening Day roster in 01, did the Cubs make u switch to No. 1 or did u want to? Did you ever think of going back to 55?
