@EdLatimore I’ve had sunburns since I was a child. I always get red in the sun even with toxic sunscreen. I would go on a 30 minute run and be burnt pretty bad. Now, post seed oil cleansing, I still get red and I CAN still get burnt but it turns to tan and goes away and is rarely painful.

White people who avoid seed oils. I have a serious question. I'm writing an essay about beef tallow. While researching benefits, I came across data suggesting that avoiding seed oils can help prevent or reduce sunburn. Do your personal experiences reflect this?

@jakeshieldsajj I love taking my kids to weddings. I usually eat and drink less and have way more fun. Plus the kids start the dancing off early and everyone loves to watch kids have a ball.

Why are so many people having child-free weddings? Isn’t the point of a wedding to bring friends and family together to celebrate the start of a new family? Seems weird to cut out other people's families to start the beginning of your family Is it because kids are too loud? To save money?

@zachpogrob So true. Central California is golden for this. Lots of interesting places Then make your way up towards the mountains and it gets even more interesting.

You have not truly lived until you’ve driven through rural America with no service, no plans, and a full tank of a gas. Stopping at overlooks. Exploring small towns. Talking to locals who see a few miles as their whole world. It feels like picking up the controller for reality for the first time. Open the map, do what seems interesting. That mentality would solve a lot of problems.

@brezina Pacifica AWD full glass roof sunroof. Even the back passengers have a little moonroof. All luxury in and out and gets around in the snow better than most SUVs. Our kids love it and I spent several months finding the exact right one. Wasn’t easy

Our family has been doing the hardcore American suburban adventure thing for the last week. Some observations: (1) Any family that chooses an SUV over a minivan is making an entirely ego-driven purchase. These mobile living rooms are the ideal suburban land yacht

@jamonholmgren Great stuff thanks for being real. People say parenting is hard…. It seems like loving, good, caring parents have hard moments. They have difficult seasons, they even have long periods of time where they just don’t know. But love ALWAYS wins…

My experience raising 4 kids, in a thread: * First years are a lot of physical work, but I can still remember that freshly bathed baby smell as they lay sleeping on my chest. One of my fondest memories and times of my life. (She’s now 15!)

Unpopular opinion: Having children sounds terrifying. As if I’d lose myself, my relationship, and my career. Yet everyone seems to do it. Are you all happy? Happy mostly when they’re older and you have people to come home for Thanksgiving? I wish people would honestly reply

@aarondfrancis You are basically an expert already with one set of twins. So this next set will be 🍰. We had twins for our first round, then one and it was shocking how easy one was compared. Take special care of your wife. The kids will be eternally grateful.

🥳🥳🥳 I'm incredibly excited to share that my wife and I are expecting twins in the fall! You may be thinking... but Aaron, you already have twins. Yes. Yes, we do. We're going to have another set of twins, somehow. Four kids under three years old. Send help!

5) Mazes are supposed to be fun, enjoyable and yes… challenging All in all being a parent of 3 little ones 3 and under is hard and challenging. I’m in a maze, it’s really fun to walk through all the different mazes with my kids and my wife.

1) It’s not about completing the maze fast or really at all 2) you rarely have control of the speed or exit velocity of the maze 3) It is incredibly confusing and you often have to go back a few stages to move forward 4) forward progress rarely is forward, more side to side

This thread (read comments) is really interesting. When you start a company there is generally a “playbook” When you play a sport their always is. In your daily work you typically follow certain guidelines and procedures. Parenting is more like a maze 🧵
