Just last week, I started sharing some of my football research publicly. Since then, multiple NFL head coaches I’ve never met have followed this account. I’ve heard from a number of play callers and a star NFL player, and I’ve spoken with multiple FBS head coaches about consulting. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of a Super Bowl-winning team and to have gotten to share research with an FBS play caller during a national championship season. But seeing this work connect with so many people so quickly is not something I expected. It’s honestly been surreal. Thank you to everyone who has read, shared or told someone about my work. It really does make a difference. If you’re with a team at the NFL or college level and could use research support, strategic analysis or simply a fresh set of eyes on your operation, I’d love to talk. If you work in media, I’d love to complement your coverage with original research and a different perspective, whether that means joining a podcast, collaborating on a story or digging into a topic you think deserves more attention. A few people have suggested putting this work behind a paywall, but I’d much rather share as much of it publicly as I can. Reading, following and sharing the work help make that possible. @BrettKollmann Love you Brett but Helen was Greek. She was originally from Sparta before being brought to Troy. Greeks were white. Not saying there can’t be other interpretations, but if we are talking accuracy then she should be white (but most likely with dark hair, not blonde)
