🚨UPDATE🚨 For context, 4 out of the 6 teens that testified today were black. Teen 3 said Austin Metcalf told Karmelo Anthony he was not going, "to fight you at a track meet, dude." Teen 4 said Austin never got to grab Karmelo because Karmelo stabbed him so fast. Teen 6 said said Karmelo's vein in his arm was visible and it appeared he was grabbing something from his back pack. That something ended up being the knife that was used to kill Austin. The Daily Mail also is reporting that all the teens testified and said Karmelo was asked repeatedly to leave the tent.

🚨UPDATE🚨 DAY 2 OF TESTIMONY IN THE KARMELO ANTHONY MURDER TRIAL: The jury was shown a photo of the weapon used to kill Austin Metcalf. The photo was of a 5-inch folding knife with blood on it. Frisco Police Officer Jacob Shalz testified after he found the murder weapon Karmelo Anthony tossed. The knife was found 3-4 rows from where the crime took place. Shalz also located Anthony’s backpack. Frisco Police officer Eduardo Cortez testified. When Karmelo Anthony heard Cortez say he had the "alleged suspect," over the police scanner, Anthony volunteered said, "I'm not alleged. I did it. He put his hands on me. I told him not to." The jury watched that body camera footage. Frisco firefighter Neil Adams testified and stated that Austin Metcalf was gray and didn’t have a pulse when he responded. They did everything to save him. Adams got emotional on the stand and started tearing up.

One of the most shocking things I witnessed today was this woman in pink screaming “you gon end up like Metcalf, you gone be pushing up daisies”. I caught the tail end of her saying this to Metcalf supporters in the clip below. I also witnessed several Karmelo supporters get extremely aggressive when ANY media tried speaking with them. One female reporter went up to the group to ask questions (linked below) and they immediately got angry saying “we told y’all to stop coming the f*ck over here” (this was her first attempt at speaking to them). At this point I started warning every reporter who was trying to speak with this group, as earlier, another local reporter had tapped on the shoulder of the man who leads their chants. This man immediately squared up and acted like the reporter had punched him. I’ve been covering protests for 7 years and this is some of the most violent and racially charged rhetoric I’ve ever encountered.

What kind of society are we living in when a mother, upon learning the gender of her baby during a gender reveal, decides it's not the one she wanted—so she immediately takes abortion pills on the spot and films herself being encouraged through the abortion? Or when a couple chooses to terminate their pregnancy after learning their baby might have Down syndrome, films their devastating reaction for the world to see, and then publicly announces that they "had to get rid of the baby"? Who does that? What kind of society do we want to live in? One that values life, or one that values death? I dont want to co-exist with these people. The devil has a hold of this world.
